Toledo Judge Lets Voters at a Polling Place Closed by a Bomb Threat Vote Provisionally Until 9:15 p.m.

A bomb threat closed the Beverly Elementary polling place in Toledo, Ohio, for nearly two hours on Election Day, WTVG reported. Judge Ken Walz granted a request to extend voting there, so that its voters “can vote provisionally until 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.” The ruling followed a lawsuit filed by election protection attorneys.

Because the late ballots are provisional, they are subject to review in the county canvass. The order itself was not read for this entry.
