DOJ Announces Charges Involving 63 Individuals for Election-Related Crimes the Day Before Election Day

On Monday, November 2, 2026, the Justice Department announced charges involving 63 individuals, including four it describes as illegal aliens, in connection with illegal voting, fraudulent voter registration, and related election crimes across the country. Attorney General Todd Blanche called it “the largest surge of voter-fraud arrests since President Trump returned to office.” The release says the Department has charged 195 aliens across 25 states in the last nine weeks, and 239 people with voting fraud-related offenses since the beginning of this Administration. The release states that charging documents contain only accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent.

This is the Justice Department’s own account, released the day before Election Day; the individual cases were not checked against court records here, and “illegal alien” is the Department’s label.
