Clark County Judge Grants ACLU of Nevada a Restraining Order Over Alleged Intimidation at Desert Breeze Vote Center
The ACLU of Nevada says it received a temporary restraining order Thursday night from Judge Joe Hardy over reports of intimidation at the Desert Breeze Community Center vote center, KSNV reported. The order has Clark County designate the narrow pathway as the entrance and prohibit electioneering within 100 feet of it, and tells defendants it does not name to stop following voters while recording them, blocking entrances or threatening harm. The ACLU reports a recorded assault in which a woman pushed a bullhorn into a voter’s face. These are the ACLU’s allegations. KSNV says the order could stretch into Election Day and that there could be a hearing Monday. The order itself was not read.
