Sanders Rallies With El-Sayed in Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor Ahead of Michigan Senate Election
WWMT reported that Abdul El-Sayed and Sen. Bernie Sanders “campaigned together in Grand Rapids, rallying voters on healthcare and affordability” at a rally on Sunday, Oct. 25. Addressing the president, Sanders said: “instead of slandering Abdul and his family, what are you going to do about the healthcare prices in America?”
WWMT also reported the schedule that followed: “El-Sayed will rally in Lansing Monday, while Sanders will go to Alpena and Ann Arbor before finishing his Michigan tour.” WXYZ reported that El-Sayed “rallied with students and supporters Monday night at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, where he was joined by U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders.”
