In his first speech after winning the Oct. 25, 2026 runoff (64,256,232 votes, 51.79% of valid votes, to 59,826,041 for Flávio Bolsonaro per the TSE), President Lula said it was an election in which “a gente teve que vencer a intromissão vinda de fora para dentro através de plataformas digitais” (we had to overcome interference from outside through digital platforms) that his government would have to regulate. He named no company in the quoted passage. This is a campaign statement, not a finding; the AIJE 0603276-73 against the Bolsonaro ticket, which alleges Meta and X favored it, remained pending as of Oct. 26.
