Sheehy Tells The Daily Wire El-Sayed's Ties Raise "Serious National Security Questions"

Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-MT), who sits on the Armed Services Committee, gave The Daily Wire a statement that was published in a Daily Wire article that ran on Wednesday. The article does not say when Sheehy gave it, so the date on this entry is the article’s publication date. Sheehy said: “I fully support labeling the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization.”

In the next paragraph, Sheehy added: “Abdul El-Sayed’s ties to this group raise serious national security questions. As senators, we have access to some of our nation’s most sensitive, classified information, and I have serious concerns about the security risks posed by anyone associated with such a group serving in the Senate.” Read in sequence, “this group” is the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization named in the sentence directly before it.
