The Washington Post (publication date 2026-10-15) obtained an internal fundraising spreadsheet listing 67 donations above $10,000, totaling $333 million as of late September 2026. Nvidia, Apple, the Adelson family and Charles Ergen are each listed at $25 million; Trump himself is absent. The money is collected by the Trust for the National Mall and channeled to the government and a White House account the president controls. About half the total comes from companies or executives of firms with federal contracts in Trump’s second term. The Post says its reporting does not establish a connection between donations and favorable government action; the donors who commented denied one. Sequences for individual donors (Ergen/EchoStar, Rocket/FHFA, Nvidia, Salesforce, Herrera) are laid side by side in the research note note-ballroom-donor-list-vs-federal-actions-2026-10-15.
