NRSC and DSCC File Millions in Party Coordinated Spending in Michigan After NRSC v. FEC; DSCC Backs Talarico in Texas and NRSC Files None for Paxton

This entry sets out the Schedule F coordinated expenditure lines the NRSC and DSCC filed for the Michigan and Texas Senate races, each dated by its expenditure date.

Michigan, NRSC for Rogers. The NRSC’s filings carry coordinated lines of $1,500,000 to Smart Media Group, $2,715,700 and $210,215 to Cross Roads Media LLC, then $2,837,922, $1,996,722, $2,073,783 and $2,107,371 to Cross Roads Media in the September report, and $1,010,301 to Cross Roads Media and $23,000 to Premiere Transportation in the pre-general report.

Texas, NRSC for Paxton. No NRSC Schedule F line in either filing carries a Texas Senate candidate, and the bulk file holds no NRSC coordinated line for Ken Paxton. The NRSC did give his campaign a $62,000 direct contribution, a separate transaction type.

Michigan, DSCC for El-Sayed. The September and pre-general filings carry many lines for El-Sayed, among them $1,000,000 payments to LC Media LLC. Every DSCC line in them shows the Democratic National Committee as the designating committee. The DSCC also gave El-Sayed’s campaign a $62,000 contribution.

Texas, DSCC for Talarico. The pre-general filing carries $564,760 and $358,445.59 to Thematic Campaigns LLC, along with smaller lines.

Scale against the old limits. Before 2026-06-30–scotus-nrsc-v-fec-strikes-party-coordinated-expenditure-limits-6-3, the FEC’s 2026 table set the Senate limit at $1,053,200 for Michigan and $3,148,400 for Texas. The only DSCC line for these races dated before the ruling was $4,000 for a different Michigan candidate, Haley Stevens.

Caveats. Totals are computed from the raw files and recorded in the research task rather than here. Super PAC spending is covered in separate entries.
