DNC's Joint Status Report in Its FOIA Suit Calls McCotter's California Letter a Plausible Threat of Warrant-Based Ballot Seizure; Criminal Division Reported No Responsive Records

Democracy Docket reports that the DNC’s side of the joint status report in its FOIA suit over ballot-seizure plans called the acting Deputy Attorney General’s California letter “a plausible threat that DOJ will attempt to engage in warrant-based ballot seizure,” and that the Criminal Division’s final response letter said “no responsive records.” That is the DNC’s inference as relayed by Democracy Docket; DOJ has not said it plans any seizure. I could not read the report itself, which is not on RECAP.
