Aaron Day's StarkFreedom PAC Says It Will Boost Third-Party Candidates to Cost the GOP the Senate

Semafor reported Oct 14, 2026 that former U.S. Senate candidate Aaron Day is looking to spend as much as $2.5 million through StarkFreedom PAC to cost the GOP the Senate, boosting third-party candidates in eight states. “You call it a spoiler campaign, I call it holding Republicans accountable,” Day told Semafor. He said he didn’t run himself in part because he was in negotiations with Republicans and the Trump administration over demands that weren’t fulfilled: “I was told something definitive was going to happen, and it did not.” He declined to go into further detail; the White House did not comment.

The committee’s FEC page lists total receipts of $317.86 for the period through its pre-general report.
