Jindal-Founded America Next Reports $250,000 'Canvassing and Influencer Marketing' Spend Against El-Sayed, Paid to a Vendor at Its Own Baton Rouge Suite

America Next Inc, a nonprofit registered with the FEC as a non-committee filer, reported a $250,000 independent expenditure naming Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed in a report dated 10/01/2026. The stated purpose was “CANVASSING AND INFLUENCER MARKETING”. The payee is Breakthrough LLC. The filer and the payee give the same Baton Rouge address, 5800 One Perkins Place, Suite 8B. No contributor is named on the form.

The AP’s 2013 account of the group’s founding reads: “Gov. Bobby Jindal is creating a new nonprofit called America Next”. In July 2015 the same filer reported $392,648.86 in independent expenditures naming Bobby Jindal as the candidate, with OnMessage Inc as payee. On its latest IRS return, America Next lists Breakthrough LLC, at the same suite, for “EMAIL FUNDRAISING & FUNDRAISING RETREAT”. Its 2020 return lists OnMessage Inc for “MEDIA CONSULTING AND RENT”.

What the influencer marketing bought, which creators were paid, and who owns Breakthrough LLC remain unknown. Louisiana’s business registry sits behind a CAPTCHA and was not read.
