Tim Dunn-Funded Super PAC Jefferson Rising Reports $220,139 in SparkFire SMS Messaging Opposing Talarico; Same Vendor Sits in the Clock Tower X Israel Contract Chain
Jefferson Rising, the Virginia-addressed super PAC (FEC C00769232) funded by Midland, Texas oilman Tim Dunn, reported two independent expenditures to SparkFire Technologies LLC of Atlanta for “SMS messaging” opposing Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico in Texas. The first, $110,335, carries an expenditure date of 2026-07-31 and a dissemination date of 2026-08-03; the FEC received the 48-hour report on 2026-08-05. The second, $109,804, carries an expenditure date of 2026-09-29 and a dissemination date of 2026-09-30; received 2026-10-02. The cumulative line reads $220,139. The committee’s Q3 report, filed 2026-10-15, repeats both and shows no other SparkFire payment.
SparkFire also appears as a subcontractor in the Clock Tower X chain (Israel via Havas Media Germany), documented in a separate entry. That is two clients using one texting vendor. SparkFire is a commercial SMS vendor; shared use shows a shared supplier, not a shared operator.
Dunn’s money into the committee is large: about $21 million across two cycles by the sum in claim c3, including $1,000,000 on 2026-08-05. Jefferson Rising has paid Campaign Nucleus $109,500 across 2023-2025.
Dates, by kind. Expenditure: 2026-07-31 and 2026-09-29. Dissemination: 2026-08-03 and 2026-09-30. FEC receipt of the 48-hour reports: 2026-08-05 and 2026-10-02. Q3 report filed: 2026-10-15.
