GAO Says Agencies Could Not or Would Not Show What Their DOGE Teams Accessed or Which Controls Applied

GAO reported to congressional requesters on DOGE teams at six agencies. The report is titled, in part, Congress and the Public Lack Assurance That Systems and Data Were Protected. Four of the agencies collectively reported that their DOGE teams had access to more than 23 systems. GAO could not confirm the extent of that access: “Four agencies provided partial information and two agencies did not provide any information.”

Ledger class. FOUND (GAO audit). It does not establish a specific Privacy Act or FISMA violation.
