Graphika Publishes Its Own Assessment That Operation Overload and the Prigozhin-Founded R-FBI Produced Fake Videos Against US Midterm Candidates

Graphika published an insight dated Sep 21, 2026 (its publication date) on activity it saw on X. It reports that likely inauthentic accounts, now suspended, shared videos accusing US Democratic politicians of corruption, antisemitism and misconduct; it names Talarico, Ossoff, Pappas, Brown, Peltola, Cooper, El-Sayed, Turek and Jackson as targets.

Graphika assesses “with high confidence” that the Russia-aligned Operation Overload and the Prigozhin-founded Foundation to Battle Injustice produced the narratives. That attribution is Graphika’s assessment, not a finding of this corpus.

This is the primary behind the “Graphika corroborated” line in Bloomberg’s investigation (see 2026-10-17–bloomberg-matryoshka-bot-network-inflates-fake-videos-targeting-democratic-candidates-20-senate-29-governor-races), but they are not the same finding: Graphika’s insight covers earlier September content and does not discuss bot-inflated view counts, which the Bloomberg coverage attributes to an anonymous research group.
