USPS Whistleblower Alleges Ballot-Vetting System Built in Weeks and Work Continued After Court Order

A whistleblower complaint sent to Senator Richard Blumenthal’s office, made public September 1, 2026, alleges that the technical system the U.S. Postal Service assembled to vet voters was developed in a “rushed, chaotic, and fundamentally flawed process.” Blumenthal forwarded the complaint to Postmaster General David Steiner with a request for information.
