Judge Abelson Vacates Howard County's Permit Revocations, Clearing Elkridge ICE Warehouse Conversion to Resume

Federal judge Adam Abelson issued a preliminary injunction on August 12, 2026 vacating Howard County, Maryland’s revocation of building permits for 6522 Meadowridge Road in Elkridge, allowing construction to resume on the warehouse conversion being built by Genesis GSA Strategic One LLC under a Department of Homeland Security contract.
