Trump Primetime Address Pushes SAVE America Act on Unsupported Claims; DC Circuit Reinstates USPS Ballot Barcode Rule

In a July 16 primetime national address, Trump claimed China had acquired 220 million US voter files, that 250,000-270,000 noncitizens are illegally registered across four key states, and that voting machines are vulnerable — claims immediately rebutted by election officials and fact-checkers as unsupported by new evidence. Arizona’s Secretary of State said on the record: “I have seen zero new facts.” Trump used the speech to demand passage of the SAVE America Act requiring nationwide proof-of-citizenship registration and photo ID.
