Intercept Reports Palantir Paid $130M+ by IRS for 'Massive-Scale' Data Mining of Federal Databases

The Intercept reported that Palantir Technologies has been paid more than $130 million by the IRS to analyze sensitive federal databases, with the IRS Criminal Investigation Division using Palantir’s Lead and Case Analytics platform to aggregate dozens of datasets on Americans for “massive-scale” data mining of financial-crime suspects.
