IAEA Reports Iran's Near-Weapons-Grade Uranium Stockpile Reaches 408kg

The IAEA reported that Iran’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium (near weapons-grade) had reached 408 kg - a nearly 50% increase since February 2025. Iran’s total enriched uranium stockpile stood at 9,247.6 kg, more than 40 times the JCPOA limit. The Defense Intelligence Agency assessed that Iran could produce enough weapons-grade uranium for one nuclear bomb in “less than one week.” The alarming report set the stage for the IAEA Board’s subsequent non-compliance finding and Israel’s military strikes.
