Leaked Palantir Slack messages and internal wiki page say Palantir is now a 'more mature partner to ICE'

On April 17, 2025, 404 Media reported on internal Palantir Slack chats, message boards and a wiki page it had obtained, which it said show that Palantir is now a “more mature partner to ICE”. The wiki page says Palantir took part in a three-week sprint with Homeland Security Investigations’ Innovation Lab. The sprint’s stated focus was giving immigration agents “improved awareness about the criminality and location of individuals who have already received a final order of removal.” A Palantir Slack message quoted by 404 Media says the company “prototyped a new set of data integrations and workflows with ICE.”

On April 29, 2025, 404 Media published the full wiki page, saying it had retyped it to protect the source. It reports that Palantir internally justifies the closer relationship as promoting “efficiency, transparency, and accountability.”

Reading limits: the English April 17 and April 29 articles are paywalled and this entry rests on the portion visible without a subscription. 404 Media’s free Spanish translation of the April 17 article is the source for the wiki’s closing line (“Nos hemos convertido en un socio más maduro para el ICE” in the Spanish) and for the wiki’s warning that “habrá fallos en los procesos de deportación”. Both are Spanish renderings, not the English wiki text.
