Heritage Foundation Staffs Trump Admin, Implements 64% of Agenda

The Heritage Foundation placed 70+ personnel in the Trump administration and achieved implementation of 64% of their policy recommendations within Trump’s first year, unprecedented corporate capture of government. Heritage alumni included OMB Director Mick Mulvaney, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, HHS Secretary Tom Price, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The foundation’s ‘Mandate for Leadership’ became the administration’s blueprint, with 2 of every 3 recommendations adopted. Heritage received $5 million from Koch network and millions from fossil fuel companies while their personnel dismantled environmental protections.
