Bornstein Releases Letter Declaring Trump 'Healthiest Individual Ever Elected'

In December 2015 — confirmed by multiple tier-1 sources as approximately December 4 — Dr. Harold Bornstein, then personal physician to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, released a letter on Trump campaign letterhead declaring: “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.” The letter further stated that Trump’s laboratory results were “astonishingly excellent,” that “his physical strength and stamina are extraordinary,” and that a recent medical examination “showed only positive results.” The letter was dated and signed by Bornstein and released publicly by the Trump campaign. At the time of release, Bornstein told reporters he had dashed off the letter in five minutes while Trump’s limousine waited outside his office.
