Seven B-2 Spirit stealth bombers flew an 18-hour mission from Whiteman AFB, Missouri, dropping 14 GBU-57 "Massive Ordnance Penetrator" bunker-buster bombs on Iran's Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities. A US Navy submarine fired 30 Tomahawk missiles at Natanz and Isfahan. Over 125 US aircraft participated in what became the largest B-2 combat operation in US history. IAEA Director Grossi stated "very significant damage" was expected to Iran's centrifuges, though the facilities were not completely destroyed.
